BRRB AGM brings key Bognor Regis stakeholders together

The Bognor Regis Regeneration Board held its Annual General Meeting at The_Track on 21st July 2021. Pre-meeting networking allowed Board members to get together informally for the first time since January 2020. The Board’s Advisor, Rebecca White, noted: “The strength of the unique partnership between the public and private sectors continues, meaning that the Board is able to bring together a dynamic group of stakeholders and investors so that Bognor Regis can benefit from a committed and co-ordinated approach to regeneration. We were very pleased to be able to host the meeting at The_Track, the new co-working and business space established by WSCC to support the developing creative digital economy in Bognor Regis. Thanks to The_Track team for their able assistance on the night”.  Representatives from Arun District Council, West Sussex County Council, Bognor Regis Town Council, Landlink Estates, Metamorph Management were all present at the Board’s AGM, whose members also include Butlins, Covers, the Coastal West Sussex Partnership and the Regis Group.

Elections took place for leadership roles including the Chair, Deputy Chair and Management Committee. The elected Chair, Raof Daud, stated: “I am pleased to announce our incorporation as Bognor Regis Regeneration Board Ltd, confirming our position as an independent and open organisation, and look forward to working with the Deputy Chair, Cllr David Edwards and the membership to deliver a positive and active regeneration agenda for Bognor Regis. Our key focus remains on the town centre as we look to our partners to be proactive in ensuring this area emulates the successful regeneration and growth seen at the Shripney Road, Saltbox and Oldlands Farm sites at the town’s northern gateway.”
